We dropped my oldest daughter, Hadley, off at Smith College yesterday.I maintained until the last moment, when Hadley got that I-am-about-to cry look that I have known so well for 18 years. Tears...those silent,streaming tears, that come from so down deep, you have no hope of holding them back.

Spring is Here....Summer is Coming. Jump. For. Joy.

I am post birthday, embarking on my 51st year. Decided to extend the 'its my birthday' feeling a little longer and slept late guiltfree. Also have skipped the dirty dishes. Think I will attempt some yard clean up on this gorgeous day, and may even hit the garden store.
